Collect signatures
If signature is set as mandatory in company settings it will be required to add engineer and client signatures before closing the job. You can also choose to collect client signatures at survey stage - the after job survey email will be sent to the customer if this functionality is enabled by the admin. The survey will contain a field for taking client signatures. In this case only the engineer signature will be required before closing the job.
Work docket
You can access the work docket from the Details tab while being in the working mode. On the docket you will see a summary of call details, issues and resolutions, session times, products used and signatures.
Session Times
Session times can be seen on the work docket or on the bottom of the Details tab. You can edit start and end times of the on-site sessions. Remote sessions are not editable.
Resolve the job
If signatures and resolution are set to optional in company settings, just click the ‘Close’ button and the job will be resolved. If signatures are set to be required, you will have to add an engineer signature and collect the signature from the client. You can select to collect the client signature at the survey stage - the after job survey email will be sent to the customer if this functionality is enabled by the admin. The survey will contain a field for taking client signatures. Last thing to do before resolving the job is to provide the resolution on the Details tab - it will be necessary if resolutions are enabled in company details, if not - the field can stay empty.
Once you’ve added signatures and resolution, you can tap on the Close button. All the details, including GPS coordinates of the engineer, will be sent back to the admin site and the job will close off from the job list on the app.
