Some jobs don’t require an engineer's physical appearance on the site - remote video calling for initial consultation could be enough. In such cases you can record a remote work session using UK Field Service mobile app. To start a remote session you only have to tap on the “Work Remotely” button on the Job Details screen. You can still use all tabs while being in the remote work mode.
Customer Chat
When you start a work mode, the “Customer chat” button becomes active. It will take you to the chat screen. To connect with the client you have to send an invitation first. On the top bar there is the “Send chat link” button.
When you press it, the invitation will be automatically sent to the client contact set on the Details tab. The Client will receive an email invitation with a link to the chat. You can communicate with the client by using text chat or built-in video chat. To start a video consultation, choose the “Video chat” option on the chat screen.
