Managing events

This article describes how to manage events on the calendar.

Add / remove event

To add an event, double-click on the empty slot and a new window will pop-up. Now you can choose the event type, add title and description (optional), set the affected user(s) and modify the date and time of the event. Click ‘Save’ and the event will show up on the calendar.

The process looks a bit different if the event type is ‘Job’. In that case, instead of the ‘Save’ button you’ll see ‘Go to Log Job’. Clicking this will redirect you to the job logging page where you will finish logging the job there.

To delete an event just click on the ‘x’ button at the top right corner of the calendar event or double click on the event and then click ‘Delete’. Note that clicking the ‘x’ button on a job will send it back to the open jobs list but clicking ‘Delete’ will send this job to the list of cancelled jobs.

Reschedule events

There are two ways of rescheduling events on the calendar. First is double clicking on the event and changing the dates/times in the pop-up window. Second is dragging the event from one slot to another or if you want to change the duration just enlarging/shrinking the event on the calendar.

Assign jobs

Below the calendar there is a table of open jobs. You can assign an open job by dragging it into the calendar, but first you have to choose the engineer in the filter above the calendar for assigning. To send the job back to open just click the ‘x’ button in the top right corner of the calendar event.
