This article describes the chat functionality in the UKFS.

Chat with other company members

Connect with your team by using built-in chat that could be accessed by clicking ‘Chat’ in the left side menu. The list of all company members will be visible on the left side of the screen. Among them you’ll see one chat named the same as your company - this is a group chat for the whole company. To start a chat simply choose the person you want to chat with and type a message. The bouncing chat icon in the left side menu will notify you about any unread messages. If you want to start a video chat click the ‘Video Chat’ button and select ‘Share screen’ or ‘Webcam’.

To start a video chat select Video Chat option from the top bar - video call will start immediately.

Chat with clients

UKFS gives you the possibility to chat with the customers. ‘Client Chat’ button is available on any job details screen. Click on it and a window will pop-up. Enter client name and email and click ‘Invite’. An invitation email with a chat link will be sent to the client and you will be redirected to the chat page right away. Once the customer has accepted the chat link, you are able to communicate.
