UK Field Service Modules

UK Field Service system consists of three modules: admin site, client portal and mobile app.

Admin site is a system for Field Managers, Dispatchers, and other office admin staff in a field service company. It’s a customer work orders portal where jobs are being logged, scheduled and closed, all reports and invoices could be created there.

Client Portal is intended for customers who request field service from the service companies - can be vendors/contractors or individual customers like households. The portal allows clients to send service requests and keep track of the statuses of their jobs.

Mobile app is used by engineers who work and provide service for customers in fields. It shows engineers their assigned jobs, allows them to record working sessions and create documentation for a job. This section is meant to help with the basic setup of your company account.

On-boarding setup

Below is the list of things that you have to set up prior to using UK Field Service modules.

Your Profile Add/edit your own account details such as contacts (address, phone and email), user role (admin/engineer) or change your current password.
Company Details Add your company contact details such as address, phone and email, set up financial details and general SLA times for each job priority.
Add job types and subtypes Determine the types of jobs that your technicians will do.
Add clients Add clients contact details such as address, phone and email, set up currency and VAT rates, set SLA times against priority clients.
Add users Create accounts for your own team (engineers and administrators).
