Managing clients


This article shows how to add and manage clients.

Add / import clients

All active clients are listed in Settings > Clients. To add a new client click on the ‘Add Client’ button and fill all required fields on the form.

It’s possible to import a batch of clients at once. To do so, click on the ‘Import Clients File’ button and download a template file. Add clients to this file - required fields are highlighted with yellow colour. Once the file is ready, upload it to the system by clicking ‘Select a client's file’ and then click ‘Save’.

New clients don’t have access to the Client Portal yet, but it’s possible to log jobs for them.

Grant access to the Client Portal

New clients don’t have access to the Client Portal by default. They have to receive the invitation first. To send the invitation click on the ‘Invite’ button. Email with a temporary password to the Client Portal will be then sent to the primary contact of the client.
If the ‘Invite’ button is not available, it means that the client email is missing in the details. After updating client contact, you will be able to send the invitation.

Client details

To see client details click on the client name in the table. You can edit all client details as well as set the SLA times for client requests and open jobs of different priorities accordingly.

Client contacts

You can add multiple contacts for a client, but only one of them can be set as the primary contact. Primary contact will receive an invitation to the Client Portal and will also receive invoices. To see the client’s contacts click on the ‘Contacts’ icon. To add a new contact click on the ‘Add Contact’ button and fill required fields on the form. You can also add an address for each contact, just click ‘Edit Address’.

Quick functions

Next to the ‘Contacts’ icon there are two more icons. Clicking on the middle one will redirect to the Job Queries Report, the client filter will be automatically populated with the name. On the Job Queries Report, you are able to retrieve all the jobs done for the selected client. Last one is a shortcut to log a job page - client details will be automatically populated for you to log a new job.
